What you believe about God
is the most important
thing about you.

I believe the Bible is the living and breathing Word of God, written by men inspired by God Himself. Through its pages, God reveals Himself, His love for us, and His radical plan of redemption for humanity.
I believe God exists in three persons, of one essence, as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I believe God is both transcendent and personal. Set apart — other-worldly — yet close to each of those who love Him. I believe that what God knows He has always known.
I believe God created the heavens and the earth, all that we can see and cannot see. Whether He did so in 7 twenty-four hour days or 13.7 billion years, it happened at the sound of His voice. The process of creation could never diminish the Creator Himself.
I believe God created humanity, male and female, in His image to reflect His glory. When man disobeyed God’s law of protection His image within man became broken. Humanity became separated from Him, unable to have a rightful relationship with God by their own efforts.
I believe Jesus is the Son of God, who has existed since eternity past, and was revealed in the flesh through a virgin birth. I believe He came to be the Savior of a world that was lost in sin, separated from the One who created them and loved them.
I believe Jesus died a shameful, undeserved death so that we could be reconciled with God. I believe He was buried and that He was resurrected on the third day. I believe He lives again with the Father, and intercedes to the Father on our behalf.
I believe that God freely offers salvation to those who place their faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ as payment for their sin. And, I believe we live in a holy tension between God’s sovereignty and our free will.
I believe the Holy Spirit is God’s presence among us. As believers in Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit lives within us to comfort us, strengthen us, and enable us to become more like Jesus. I believe that the Holy Spirit enables us as we surrender to Him — daily, moment by moment.
I believe in the resurrection of our bodies. Just as Jesus was resurrected, so shall we be. Resurrected to new life in eternity with the One who created us and loves us. Or eternal separation from Him.
